P2P-Based Knowledge Grid Oriented Toward Cooperative Cognition

چکیده

It is well-acknowledge that a cognition process can be treated as a sequence of problem-solving procedures based on the information flow of dynamical knowledge transferring and propagation between participants and the collaborative environment. The issue of learning during collaboration process has long been a central topic of AI research from its earliest days and remains as a vital characteristic for any intelligent system that must deal with the changing environment. Recently, the concept of meta-learning and group learning is introduced to facilitate meta-cognition and group cognition during New Product Development (NPD) analysis. To meet a globally Internet based distributive problem solving paradigm, and to capture the cognitive intention during the collaboration, we first investigate a P2P-based Problem Solving Environment (PSE) for facilitating Web-based knowledge transferring and propagation. Next, by taking advantage of P2P-based PSE, we propose an infrastructure of knowledge grid, which is suitable for enabling cooperative cognition process, to support EScience and other complex tasks. Finally, we present discussions for our work.
